Will DeBrule
Director of Finance

Apart from managing the finances of Four Walls and serving as staff photographer, I also lend my project management experience; most notably, I assisted in the construction management of Green Point stadium in Cape Town, South Africa. Born and raised in Florida, I attended Stetson University, graduating with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a minor in marketing. I enjoy spending my time outdoors, whether SCUBA diving, taking multi-day hikes, or just going for a run.  I am always ready for an adventure.

Christian Husband
Co-Founder

A Golden Native Son of California, I grew up loving the ocean, open spaces, and travel. Because the Western Hemisphere is my classroom, I have become bilingual and thoroughly immersed in Latin-American culture.   Currently, I am finishing my degree in social science and have over ten years of experience in construction.  I am a bilingual-bohemian-cowboy-surfer (not a hippie) who lives by truth, hard work, and facial hair.

Waylon Matson
Co-Founder & Director of Operations

I was born and raised in Palm Springs, California, spending most of my time exploring the desert’s natural wonders.  In 2007 I graduated from CSUSB with a degree Social Science and a concentration in geography/political science, which fostered my appreciation for border related issues.  I have worked for GMA General Construction Company for more than ten years, where I learned to make integrity, pride and hard work my business standard.  When not working, I can be found playing for the Riverside Rugby Football Club and on local trails with my two dogs.

Luis Miguel Mayagoitia M.

Born in Chihuahua, Mexico in 1980, I graduated from the Instituto Superior of Architecture and Design and the Universidad Politécnica of Valencia. Amongst my achievements, my thesis on Social Cultural Integration was published. Currently, I am working to develop sustainable communities in the state of Chihuahua. I have collaborated with both Earthships Biotecture and 4 Walls International. I also frequent conferences on the development of sustainable communities and am the General Director for Project Ollinyotl.

Steven Wright
Executive Director and Co-Founder

Born on the east coast, brought to the west coast, and destined for south of the border… I earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Evolution and Ecology from the University of California Riverside (2006).  Research trips to Southeast Asia opened my eyes to the challenges facing a booming population with dwindling resources.  Public speaking, entrepreneurship, strong work ethic, and fluency in Spanish are among my strongest qualities.  I have a passion for traveling, surfing, exploring, spirituality, helping people, and my dog Rugger (aka “Hog”).
